PS-A2 Human Body Touch Device Electrostatic Discharger

Under certain conditions, a person's body can be electrostatically charged by friction and natural environmental conditions. The "Personal Electrostatic Eliminating Alarm" device is designed to prevent the accumulation and accidental discharge of static electricity from a person's body.

The installer, operator and maintenance personnel must have basic knowledge of safety as well as mechanic skills and a general understanding of intrinsically safe electrical equipment when using this product in hazardous areas like oil terminals and gasoline stations etc. It has passed the test of National Supervision and Inspection Center for Explosion Protection and Safety of Instrumentation.

Its Ex-marking is ExibIICT4Gb. Certificate No. is CNEx17.3779X. Can be used in Zone 1 and Zone 2, IIA to IIC grade, T1 to T4 explosive gas or mixed atmosphere with steam and air.

Application

Recommended application for Personal Electrostatic Eliminating Alarm includes but is not limited to:

*Loading rack for road trucks and rail trucks, bottom of the tank ladders and tank farm entrance.

*Pump house and other places for oil transfer.

*Unloading port in the gas station or beside fuel dispensers.

overcomes the shortcomings of other static discharging devices. It prolongs the static discharging time, reduces the energy released by touching, therefore the static will be discharged in a safe way and sparks won't be caused. It displays the voltage value of personal and judges whether it is in the safety range. Once it surpasses the safety range, visible alarms will be provided. At the same time, it checks the ground cable connection and ensures a reliable ground connection.

Caution: the default setting is powered off, press the key of Power On for 5 seconds to start the device. Please do not alter the parts of this system. 4 Status 1:Standby Status No one touching the ball, the indicators and display are off. Touching the ball to trigger PS-A 2 and it starts to check the static voltage. The display shows the voltage value. The static voltage is in safety range, the green indicator is on. Status 2:Safe Status Touching the ball, once the personnel static voltage surpasses the safe value, the red indicator is on, the display shows the voltage value. The static electricity will be slowly discharged by PS-A2—don't remove the hand from the ball. PS-A2 returns to safe status after the personnel static voltage is in safety range. Status 3:Static Alarm Status Status 4: Ground Alarm Status Touching the ball, once the ground resistance between ground cable and ground point is larger than 60Ω or there is an open circuit on the ground cable, the yellow indicator is on. Please check the ground cable and make sure a reliable connection
